Development Permits are required to ensure that structures built on a property meet the Land Use Bylaw requirements.   For businesses relocation into a new or existing space, development permits may be required to ensure that the district and zoning support the business in that location.

Failure to Notify

All fees may be doubled if development starts without proper permits being issued first or failure to notify Planning and Development Services of any significant plan change.

Development Permit Appeals

Development Permit Appeals require a fee of $250.00. Should the applicant be successful in their appeal, $200.00 of the appeal fee shall be refunded.

Stop Order Appeals

Stop Order Appeals require a fee of $250.00. Should the applicant be successful in their appeal, $200.00 of the appeal fee shall be refunded.
