Bill Nielsen Trail System
A group of friends of Mr. Bill Nielsen, who all have a common interest in continuing and honoring, the legacy built by Bill, toward exercise, health, and community service.
- A non-profit organization that raises monies for the trail upkeep and equipment.
- The trail group consists of residences who represent local runners, trail users, The City of Lacombe, and Burman University.

Lacombe Arts Endowment Fund
The Lacombe Arts Endowment Fund builds and supports a vibrant and sustainable artistic community within the City of Lacombe and Lacombe County. It provides a steady, ongoing source of grant funding that ensures literary, visual and performing artists and students can continue to follow their dreams and further their education in the arts while our artistic community continues to grow and prosper. Your donation will help keep these goals alive!
Lacombe Athletic Park Association
The City of Lacombe and Lacombe County have a rich history of supporting amateur sports and cultural activities in the region. Lacombe is home to the MEGlobal Athletic Park, a new multi-use facility developed for use by athletes and cultural organizations as well as local football, soccer and rugby teams.
The park includes a field house, complete with change rooms with showers, a concession, public washrooms, and a spotting and media tower. The facility also offers two grandstands that can seat 1,500 spectators, a new score clock, and a field and track lighting system. The field has an artificial turf surface, with lines marked for football, two mini soccer pitches, one regulation soccer pitch, and a regulation lacrosse field.
The Lacombe Athletic Park Association (L.A.P.A.) is a non-profit organization that manages the park on behalf of the City of Lacombe. The L.A.P.A. handles marketing, bookings, and operations at the park, including all related expenses and the funding of a capital reserve. It has a mandate to provide local groups with subsidized rates to use the facility and to promote the park as a multi-use facility for local, regional, and provincial sporting and culture.

The Lacombe Community Foundation is a community catalyst committed to building a legacy which strengthens the quality of life in Lacombe and the surrounding area.
Lacombe Performing Arts Centre
Established in 2018, the Lacombe Performing Arts Centre provides accessible arts programming and entertainment to the community.
The Lacombe Performing Arts Centre is a space for everyone to create, perform and collaborate. It provides a much-needed space for community dance, theatre, and art lessons, and performance space for local and touring artists and musicians.
Lacombe & District Historical Society
The Lacombe & District Historical Society is a registered Alberta Society’s Act Non-profit Organization & CRA Recognized Charity which works to preserve and promote the history of the Lacombe region through the many services and programs it offers under the name “Lacombe Museum” and owns and operates the Blacksmith Shop Museum, Michener House Museum & Gardens. The Lacombe & District Historical Society has been operating since 1971 to maintain its buildings and 40,000+ itemed Collection and is pleased to welcome the Flatiron Building Museum to the Lacombe Museum family in 2021.
