As winter approaches, many outdoor enthusiasts enjoy spending time ice-skating, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, broom balling, and playing hockey on our frozen lakes and ponds. The City of Lacombe allows residents to use local storm water ponds - at their own risk - for recreational activities once the ice reaches a suitable thickness. Please obey to all signage pertaining to ice safety.

For more information on the recreational use of approved storm water ponds in Lacombe, please refer to the Recreation Use of Storm Ponds Policy or call 403-782-1267.
