LAND USE BYLAW 400.19 – Amendments to rezone lands located within the Iron Wolf Outline Plan

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Lacombe has given first reading to Bylaw 400.17, to create the Regional Shopping Centre District (C6) and to rezone lands which are described as Lot 12MR, Block 1, Plan 002 1575 from (GS) Greenspace District to (DC2) Direct Control District 2; Lot 1, Plan 902 0901 from (R2) Residential Single & Semi-Detached District to (DC2) Direct Control District 2; Lot 3, Plan 932 0076 from (C3) Transitional Commercial District to (DC2) Direct Control District 2 and (UT) Utility District; and Lot K-1, Plan 3401 RS from (I1) Light Industrial District to  (DC2) Direct Control District 2 and (UT) Utility District.

When is the Public Hearing?

If you would like to make comments on the proposed amendment, the Council of the City of Lacombe will be holding a Public Hearing in the Council Chambers location at 5432 – 56th Avenue, on Monday, February 11, 2019 at 5:35pm.

How do I get involved?

Any person or group wishing to express their views on the proposed amendment will be given the opportunity to make a presentation during the Public Hearing. Written submissions can also be submitted for inclusion in the Public Hearing.

All written letters or petitions regarding this amendment are to:
(a) Be filed with the Chief Administrative Officer no later than 4:30pm on Monday, February 11, 2019.
(b) Contain the names and addresses of all persons making the presentation, and
(c) State the name and address of all persons authorized to represent a group of persons or the public at large.

LAND USE BYLAW 400.20 – Addition of Whelp Brook to the Flood Hazard Area Regulations Overlay and amending the Wolf Creek portion of the Flood Hazard Area Regulations Overlay.

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Lacombe has given first reading to Bylaw 400.20, to amend the Land Use Bylaw No. 400, by adding Whelp Brook to the Flood Hazard Area Regulations Overlay and amending the information in regards to Wolf Creek in the Flood Hazard Area Regulations Overlay.

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Lacombe has given first reading to Bylaw 400.21, to rezone lands which are described as a closed portion of Road Plan 6716 K.S. to (C4) Highway Commercial District.
