Fall Coffee with Council session identifies resident concerns

Fall 2019 Coffee with Council

Lacombe, Alberta (October 17, 2019) –At their regular meeting on October 15, Council reviewed and accepted for information a resident feedback summary from the September 11, 2019, Coffee with Council session held at the Lacombe Memorial Centre in conjunction with the annual Active Living Fair.

“The turnout at the fall session was relatively good, and engagement among participants was strong,” said Mayor Grant Creasey. “Council received a variety of resident feedback, including concerns, inquiries and suggestions. This input has being taken under advisement and where appropriate, discussed at the upcoming 2020 budget deliberations.”

“The Coffee with Council sessions are part of an effective, broad-based municipal communication strategy to foster ongoing public awareness and creating support for City programs, plans and policies,” said Chief Administrative Officer Matthew Goudy. “Such programs are essential for building and maintaining positive relations with our partners and stakeholders.”
